M230 - Ankle Foot Orthoses (A.F.O.s)

• Designed to limit plantar flexion in the management of foot drop
  
• The orthosis fits inside a lace up shoe and will bend in one direction only
  
• Helps with the ground clearance through the swing phase of the gait
  
• Made from high fatigue strength polypropylene
  
• Touch tape closure
  
• Can be spot heated to relieve pressure areas

• The Leaf Spring A.F.O. suits patients with flaccid foot drop. The plastic is trimmed well back behind the ankle allowing some flexibility. It has more in dorsiflexion and less in plantar flexion.
  
• The Anterior Trim A.F.O. suits patients with increased tone. The trim lines are more anterior, which increases rigidity and resistance to dorsi and plantar flexion, and medio-lateral movement
